Montana River Ranch hunts include lodging and meals. Spring Turkey: Our Spring Turkey Hunt runs 3 days/4 nights. We provide a guide to assist you in harvesting your Merriam or Eastern Turkey. Approximate Dates: April 15 - May 15 Upland Birds: Our bird hunts run 3 days/4 nights. We have a great success rate and you are welcome to bring your bird dogs along! Pheasants are the primary bird that we hunt, but will also hunt Sharptail Grouse and Partridge as available. Approximate Dates: September 1 - March 30 Whitetail Deer (Rifle): This hunt is what we are famous for. Our bucks will average a score of 130 or better. With 30 years experience, we have been able to build a quality hunt with a success rate of almost 100%. This hunt runs 5 days/6 nights. Most hunts are stand hunts with occasional drives considered. Meat processing is available if you would like and we can have it ready to travel home with you at the end of your hunt. With this hunt in high demand, we recommend that you plan at least a year in advance to book in. Approximate Dates: End of October - End of November. Whitetail Deer (Bowhunt): The only difference between this hunt and our rifle hunt is that it runs 6 days instead of 5 days. We encourage you to bring your own equipment although we do have some stands to work from. Approximate Dates: September 7 - October 20.

Directions

From Highway 2: Take the Main Street of Bainville to end of street. Turn left, go 4 and 1/2 miles to the T. At the T, turn right, go west approximately 1/2 mile and turn left, crossing the cattle guard. Follow this road south approx. 2 miles. Our lodge will be on your left. From 1-94: Take Highway 16 North into Sidney, MT. Continue on through Sidney, taking Highway 200 Northeast into Fairview, MT. One mile past Fairview, turn North (left) on North Dakota Highway 58. Proceed 10 miles to T, turn left onto North Dakota Highway 1804. Continue on past Fort Union Trading Post (on the south side of the road to your left). The road will turn to gravel at the Montana state line - MT Hwy 327. From MT Highway 327 at the MT/ND State Line: Follow the gravel road 7.8 miles. Turn left near country elevator. Cross tracks and turn right following the main road for 2 miles. Turn left at our sign and go south 2 miles. Our lodge will be on the left.From Highway 2: Take the Main Street of Bainville to end of street. Turn left, go 4 and 1/2 miles to the T.
