The Meadowlark is a spacious guest house located along the Lewis & Clark Trail. Enjoy the Montana Missouri River Breaks, our famous Big Sky, abundant wildlife, and our western hospitality in a quiet setting surrounded by farm and ranch lands close to the Missouri River and the Lewis & Clark Trail. The spectacular Northern Lights are often seen on clear nights all times of the year shooting bands and streaks of light across the night sky. Rodeos, summer theatre, hunting, fishing, dinosaur digs, museums, pioneer towns, golfing, the Fort Union Trading Post, Fort Peck Dam & Lake, the Charles M. Russell Wildlife Refuge, along with the National Historic Lewis & Clark Bridge are within a seventy mile radius of The Meadowlark. Your stay at The Meadowlark includes a full breakfast in the host's dining room. We offer the climate controlled Rose and Badlands Suites and an authentic Bunkhouse for our guests. The Rose Suite is 1 bedroom with a private bath with shower, laundry, fully equipped kitchen, dining and living room with satellite TV/DVD and convertible queen sofa. The Badlands Suite has 1 bedroom with a private bath with shower, extra queen and single bed, convertible queen sofa, mini kitchen, satellite TV/DVD, decorated in beautiful knotty pine paneling. The Meadowlark is located off Highway 13 between Circle and Wolf Point in northeast Montana. From Wolf Point, travel south on Highway 25 to Highway 13, approximately 6 miles. Cross the bridge and travel south 2 miles on Highway 13 to mile marker 44 on top of a hill. Turn left on a gravel road. Go 8.6 miles down Nickwall Road and turn left at the farmstead with the long white fence, red brick home and yellow guest house. From Circle, travel north on Highway 13 to mile marker 44.
