Opheim Rodeo
The Opheim Open Rodeo has been an annual event for over 45 years and is held on the last Sunday of June. The Rodeo events are bareback riding, saddle bronc riding, bull riding, calf roping, steer wrestling, barrel racing, team roping and junior breakaway roping. We also have a Hide Race for intermission.
Many family reunions, school reunions and others are planned around this event. There are concessions and a beer garden on the rodeo grounds.
The day begins with a parade at 1:00pm which will include horses, wagons, antique cars and floats, etc. Everyone is encouraged to enter. The rodeo begins at 2:00pm.

Opheim Rodeo is held at the Opheim Rodeo Grounds, on the south east side of town and 10 miles south of the Saskatchewan, Canada border.1
