Water can damage the wood and cause it to swell and warp. If you plan to use it outside, weather seal it and display it on a covered porch away from the elements. To weather seal we recommend a matte finish water-based clear spray. Disclosure: We can not guarantee the longevity of your sign for outdoor use due to different climates. We are not responsible for damage caused by being displayed outside.
