West End Recreation and Campground

The West End Recreation Area and Campground are located on the west side of Fort Peck Dam. The area is divided into the recreation area and the campground. The West End Campground is a fee camping area with 13 campsites overlooking Fort Peck Lake. Amenities include a comfort station with flush toilets and hot showers, paved sites with electrical hookups, picnic tables and campfire rings. There are no water hookups sites, but potable water is available to fill tanks. The West End Recreation Area has three day-use picnic shelters that may be reserved, primitive campsites with picnic tables and fire rings, a restroom with flush toilets, vault toilets, and a fish cleaning station. Immediately adjacent to the Recreation Area is a marina where bait licenses and gas are available.

West End Recreation Area is located by traveling west of Fort Peck 2 miles on Highway 117, northwest on Montana Highway 24, then left or south on Duck Creek Road for approximately 1 mile, campground will be on your left.1
